I’d put a hold on Dungeon Crawler Carl at my local library and I -had- been anticipating a several month wait, but they just got 40+ copies in and I suddenly found myself at the front of the line.

Just in time for the week where I’m trying, once again, to get back on the good habits wagon~

For sure, the fandom I was in during most of elementary & high school is totally guessable, but if you can guess my -first- fandom, then you’ve -really-been paying attention.

For the record: Yes, I did do fanart from it, even back then (early 90’s - I was five). Yes, it certainly influenced my art.

Made good on my promise and updated my website! Added a post, updated the galleries, etc. etc.

Otherwise there’s a dormant IG, and my abandoned Twitter and FB.

Artists use references. Not only is it normal, it’s important. I often use my camera.

That’s just how art works. In through the eyes, processed by the brain, out through the hand.

This is encouraging extremely bad habits.

Tons of artists (beginners, professionals and all in between) rely on 3D models and photos to create artwork with accurate proportions in a short time frame. Art fight encourages a consistent stream of artwork that benefits from these resources. (1/)
